Biography

Dr. Omoke is a Language and Communications expert and teaches language and communication units at the University of Embu. She has a PhD in Language and Communication from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. She also has a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics and a Bachelor of Education English and Literature), both from Kenyatta University, Kenya.

Research Interests

The key research interest is on discourse studies whose aim is to uncover opaque relations and unmask unequal relations. Additionally, she has interest in studying African indigenous languages. This motivation comes from the linguistic premise that all languages are equal. Therefore, African languages deserve scholarly attention. She also studies political communication.
